I hope you have all enjoyed your summer. We have already kicked off this year and I really appreciate everyone who has made the time to work so hard this week for our teachers and schools! :) 

We are sticking to emails this year as we have found that it is the easiest way to get info to you guys.
Our New E-Mail is studentcouncil@wylie.esc14.net Please send all emails there instead of the previous email.

Also, We will continue our Facebook group page. Please find it and ask to join! We do our best to send reminders and updates to that page whenever something changes. Especially if there are last minute things happening. So add that group and set notifications to text you or email you so you know whatn things are happening!

Full Council MTG - Jan. 18th - most likely we will meet in the small gym - listen for announcements!

We need some helpers for the Student Council Cafeteria Worker and Custodian Appreciate Dinner.

The Dinner is tomorrow (tuesday 12/7) night. We originally opened this up to Community Service and School Pride committees.

However, we need more workers!!

If you want to help set up it will be from 5:30 - 8ish.

The dinner will run from 6:30 - 7:30ish. We will be serving them Betty Rose's Bar b que.

Please let me know if you want the points and are willing to work!!

It's happening NOW!!!!

We are currently raising money to go to CPS families and families in the Wylie Community who can use the extra help to be able to have  a Thanksgiving meal.

If you want to be involved, bring your money to your second period class!

There is a Student Council Stadium Clean Up this Saturday - Oct. 2nd. Please remember to go if you are signed up! Be at the field at 9 AM Saturday morning.

We are doing something new this year. We will be having a Student Council Lock-In. This will be held Oct. 15th. Please be listening for time to come pick up permission slips and sign up for the event.

Welcome back students. Thanks to all those who worked so hard this summer. We started the year off Wonderfully!

Those of you passing out schedules Monday - Be there preferably at 7:30 - NO LATER than 7:40. We will meet in the counselors office before we start handing out schedules. Wear your Stu Co Shirts!

Everyone  - Remember if you wear your Stu Co shirts on the first day - you get a Point!

The sign up sheets has been updated... I still need Ushers, BYOB clean up, and everyone needs to sign up for Stadium Clean Up unless you are going to Usher.

 Our Annual Bring Your Own Banana event will be held on Sept. 10th immediately following the home football game.

We will hold our next Full Council Mtg on Sept 21st at 7:40 AM in the Gym.

We are currently enjoying the excitement of a week long Leadership Camp in San Antonio!  We are looking forward to all the wonderful things we are going to learn, and the fun that is to be had!
